Applications

The system supports fixed cells and tissue mounted on standard microscope slides as well as imaging in plate formats.

Live-cell imaging is not supported.

Plate formats (6, 12, 24, and 96 wells) can be imaged using 2x, 10x, 20x, and 60x air objectives with automatic stage control on imaging-grade plates.

Fusion Software

System control and image acquisition via Fusion software.

Integrated deconvolution.

Laser Lines

Excitation lines: 405 nm, 488 nm, 561 nm and 638 nm.

Workflow-Specific Requirements and Additional Services

Users who wish to work with plate formats must book a separate training session.

Histopathological evaluation of routine stains (e.g. H&E, PAS, Masson trichrome) may be available and is performed by a pathology-trained MD. Requests are considered on a case-by-case basis against a fee.

User Eligibility

PhD students, postdocs, staff and senior researchers are eligible.

Undergraduate students may be granted access upon special agreement.

Requests for academic collaborations are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

If you have not taken a microscopy course or lack significant experience, you must complete lessons 2, 3, 5, and 6 from the Andor Microscopy Training Course.

If you plan to perform deconvolution, please also complete lesson 11.
